I went on my first trip to Israel with Bur and Cathy Shilling. This was the most amazing trip I have ever been on!! Bur is so very knowledgeable in the Word of God and the places in the Bible. He is a great teacher and a wonderful guide. Looking forward to going on many more trips with them. Thank you so much for making my trip a trip of a lifetime!!!! 

My first visit to Israel exceeded all my best expectations. Every second, every minute, every day, every experience, every site… it was like opening my favorite gift every day. Dr. Shilling presented his knowledge in a way that truly made me feel like I was walking in the footsteps of Jesus and all of those who lived thousands of years ago.

I truly visualized and experienced life as it was in Bible times. I cannot express enough that everyone should experience this trip with Dr. Shilling at least once in their lifetime! 

Traveling in Israel brought the pages of Scripture to life!  It was easy to imagine Jesus and the disciples on the Sea of Galilee as we worshiped in silence on the water.  I could feel the wind in my face as I looked over the grassy field where Jesus fed the multitudes.  Every stop brought new perspectives and deepened my faith.  I am ready to return to The Land again next year.    

I had high expectations for my first trip to Israel and with Dr. Bur Shilling as our leader, the trip far exceeded my expectations! His extensive knowledge of the land and organizational skills allowed us to maximize each day.  This trip literally made the Bible come alive to me and I am encouraging everyone I know to travel to Israel with the Shillings.

A Life-changing experience!!!!  The Bible comes alive when you get to see and experience some of the culture JESUS did.  I find myself with a better understanding of some of the stories and parables after visiting ISRAEL!! 

The trip to Israel was a dream come true for me–one I had dreamed about since high school.  At 76 years old, I was concerned that I would be a hindrance to the others in the group.  I needn’t have worried.  Dr. Bur and his wife, Cathy, were extremely aware and accommodating. Bur combined his vast knowledge of the Bible and Bible archeology with his deep faith in God to sow into our lives seeds that will continue to grow. 

I continue to reap the benefits each time I read the Bible. Seeing the places that Jesus walked and hearing the teaching from Bur at each site has had a huge impact on my understanding of Scripture. The Bible seems to have come alive.

Being where Jesus was born, grew up, taught, walked, prayer, died and rose again has changed the way we read, understand, and think about scripture. It has changed the way we understand and think about Him. We feel like we know Him better…and love Him even more.
